Message I believe the resistance the ecu needs to see is 1 mega ohm. The resistance should be 500,000 ohms at the sub-harness connector. When measuring the resistance at the sub-harness connector (provided that the det-sensor is bolted to the engine block) use the engine block as ground and measure both pins, one should be close to 500k ohms the other should read nothing while it's unplugged (when it is plugged in it is connected to ground at the engine harness to shield the signal wire)
